First, make sure that the sealer is set to cold seal ( when using a heat-sealable material that does not require heat to seal) and then set the material to stand up in front of the sealer. Once it’s in position, close the jaws and leave for a moment before opening again.

If you’re using a continuous band sealer, the process is much simpler. It simply involves placing your packing material on the integrated conveyor belt and letting the continuous sealer do the rest.

A vertical band sealer can also be a great choice when sealing flexible packaging that suits a vertical feeding system.
