There are many possible problems which you might experience with your band sealer. Some of the most common include no heat, a damaged band or reduced heat transfer. You might also have a problem with an electrical fault or shear pin that requires replacement.
Most of the time a breakdown or failure requires the replacement of a consumable spare part. Check the device manual for a list of the most common spare parts required. In particular the PTFE strips & heating elements will need to be replaced with prolonged use.
